Following Rob Webb’s scratch last night, Dan Harty now leads the way with a gap of around 25km between him and closest rider Matt Seward.

Late yesterday, Jo Burt found himself at the mercy of one of bikepacking’s worst surprises: the closed kitchen. Fortunately for him, the pub he found was more than happy to provide Guinness – a viable alternative to ride fuel (just don’t have more than one before getting back on the bike):
